New to the Abstraction by Design process? Layered Beginnings is where it all starts. Have you taken an AbD workshop before but haven’t had the opportunity to practice the process? Consider this your invitation to jump back in, refresh your skills, and get back into the rhythm of working with layers.
In this mixed-media workshop, we’ll build dynamic, textured surfaces by layering paper and paint and create working surfaces that can be sanded, scraped, peeled, painted, collaged, and reworked again and again. The goal is to create a series of layered surfaces that become the foundation for your own paint and collage projects. Come learn the AbD process. Come refresh what you already know.
